Introduction to Arowana

Arowanas are large bony-tongue fish and they had already existed in the ancient times.

Arowanas mainly categorized as: Asian Arowana (variety types of Red Arowanas, Golden Arowanas, Green Arowanas and Yellow Tailed Arowana), South American Arowanas (Silver Arowana and Black Arowana), Austrailian Arowanas (Jardini Arowana and Leichardti Arowana).

Chrome

In the 70-80's, Asian Arowanas were classified as endangered species due to over fishing because they are high demands in the market and they were listed on CITES Appendix I.

Adult Asian Arowanas can grow up to 60-90 cm with long lifespan of over 10 years.They are territorial and aggressive. Arowanas are carnivorous and mainly feed of meaty food such as small fishes, prawns, insects, small reptiles, and frogs.

Breeding Process

We carefully chose the groups of high quality and pure-breed adult Arowanas as the brood fishes. The brood fishes will keep in the large earthen ponds, they will paired up naturally in times.
